A gigantic responsibility of organizing 3 South Indian weddings

Here is an occasion to celebrate and share yet another success of Rachnoutsav.

Vijayawada has become the hub of our events this time. Not just one, but 3 weddings back-to-back and in our best way. It doesn’t at all seem a small task, but with Rachnoutsav’s trademark of confidence and innovation, it turned into a magnificent event experience. A gigantic responsibility of organizing 3 South Indian weddings, on 3 consecutive days, with 3 different themes, at the same venue is fulfilled successfully by Rachnoutsav.

Planning played its perfect role and the men behind it are Mr. Sanjay Kankaria, Mr. Amrit Dugar, Mr. Murali Prasad and Mr. Satyam. The venue was all ready and selected by the client. Our first step was performing a recee on the client-preferred site. Deciding the venue location for an event is quite different from organizing an event in an already selected area. Planning differs a lot in the latter. However, in our case, Recce was a kick-start, as it was a perfect venue for the event to take-off.  

The event venue is 35,000 sq. ft and this area should accommodate 2000 people, and has to be utilized for the Mandap, the seating of guests and also the dining.  Practical knowledge is required to customize the event venue to accept three different themes. On a bigger note, there are just 3 events, but taking closer look there are actually 9 events in total including the Pellikuturu, Pellikoduku, Mehendi, Sangeet functions and the Wedding.

The décor has to be done at the event venue and also at the residence of the client thereby doubling the effort and challenging the skill. Continuous setting-up and changing of décor to meet the deadlines almost within a short span is the act of only an expert. Removal of the old décor and new set-up was done within a span of 8 quick hours. Plan was so detailed that never sensed the requirement of employing extra personnel to take up any of the tasks. So explaining our team about their roles, managing them to coordinate at both residence and venue is made possible by a feasible plan.

Since the events are back-to-back, procuring material needed at local stores would have reduced the a little work load. But as Rachnoutsav never compromises on quality and never procrastinates on plans, the material was selected and brought down from Hyderabad. And so the material i.e. the drapes, the decoration material, the matching carpets, the Mandap material were all packed and parceled to the respective event locations in Vijayawada from Hyderabad. Bringing the planning to the minutest level is a Unique Selling Point (USP) of Rachnoutsav. Thus, each and every element used in the event set up is listed out and separated according to each event’s requirement and transported to the right location at the right time.

Confusion and chaos are not to be seen anywhere, because every employee of our team knows what exactly they have to do and when they have to do it. The whole team was made comfortable with the plan.

For any event to be a success, an accurate plan has to be in place. In these series of events, planning is done day-wise and further crystallized hour-wise. For instance, the décor for the wedding on 13th February has to start on 12th February.  And the previous day i.e. 11th February, the décor at the residence would be done. Our work started on 12th February and continued through day and night and ended up by 16th February.

We, as a team made this event what it turned out to be, leaving no scope for mismanagement and no chance for glitch. Our team that stood together for many years now, has loads of more such great memories and experiences ahead!!
