Starjack Entertainment announces ''Full Moon Dog 2013''

April 8, 2013 - PRLog -- Starjack Entertainment announces ‘Full Moon Dog 2013’ - The festival, now in its third year, is in memory of Jay-Jay Winter, ASOMVEL’s founder and front-man, whose life was cut tragically short in 2010.

This one-day celebration of great British heavy metal will be held on Saturday, 12th October 2013 at The Cockpit in Leeds, UK.

Last year’s festival, a monumental success.  Captured forever in Starjack Entertainment’s hilarious, must-see film, “Madder Than a Full Moon Dog”, the film features the day’s music, backstage shenanigans, band & crowd interviews, and general madness and mayhem, and can be found on Amazon or at www.madderthanafullmoondog.com.

Starjack partner, Deborah Robinson, says of 2012’s festival, “So many people thanked me for organising it, and I am deeply humbled by that, but it wasn’t me who made this the shin-dig it was.  It was the amazing bands who played their hearts out, and it was the heavy rockers that came from all over the world to celebrate Jay’s life.  It was the hearts and spirits of everyone in the room – it takes people to create an atmosphere – and thank God we had the people! I had been promoting this festival as Bringing back the 80’s, and sure enough, it was like being back in 1985 when venues would be packed to the rafters with rockers pumping their fists and raising their horns for a genre they worshipped.  All the people who got off their backsides, travelled to Leeds, and did it like they meant it - THEY made it work!  And I salute them.”
