Providence College Men's Lacrosse Team at Stone Hearth

The Bulldogs and Friars fought a hard battle at Reese Stadium
 
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - April 6, 2013 - PRLog -- Providence competed on Tuesday, April 2 against Yale in New Haven. The Bulldogs beat the Friars, 13-6. After an exciting first quarter, Yale had a 8-5 lead at half time. The Bulldogs finished strongly scoring 5-1 in the final 30 minutes of play. Afterwards, the team stopped at Stone Hearth to dine and relax.


According to a report filed by Wes Moyer '12 "A much improved Providence program (7-3, 1-2 Big East) has won more games this season than its previous three springs combined (5). The Friars got off to a blazing start, winning five-straight, but stumbled and dropped the next three. They headed to Reese Stadium riding the momentum of two straight wins, beating Bryant (10-9), and Rutgers (10-9 OT)."
