Latino Community Fund of Washington State Hosts Fundraising Gala May 4, 2013 at NewCastle

EDMONDS, Wash. - April 6, 2013 - PRLog -- The Latino Community Fund of Washington State (LCF) will host its annual fundraising gala dinner, Intertwining our Cultures, Celebrating our Future, on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Golf Club at Newcastle. With less than 2% of all funding from the philanthropic community being awarded to Latino-led or Latino-serving organizations this important event raises funds to be distributed in the 2013 LCF grants program -- directly benefiting local Latino non-profits and the communities they serve.

The evening will be hosted by Univision-Seattle news anchor Teresa Gonzalez, with opening remarks by Congresswoman Suzan DelBene and a keynote speech delivered by Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Horacio Gutierrez. Sponsored by Coca Cola, Plaza Bank, Community Health Plan of Washington, SeaMar, SEIU 775NW, and Molina Healthcare, this special evening will include cocktails, a plated dinner, musical entertainment and dancing in a magical setting with sweeping views of the city.
