Tees Barrage Launch Kids Activities for the Easter Break.

April 5, 2013 - PRLog -- The Tees Barrage International White Water Centre has put on a number of activities across the Easter holidays for kids to enjoy. The activities are available now and run until Friday 12th April.

The Easter holidays run for two weeks in England, and it can be a long time to try to fill with activities to keep kids entertained all the time. According to Female First British parents on average will spend over £300 on a short break, trips out and buying in things for crafts and baking. Making use of local facilities is a great way avoid spending this large amount on a short break away.

It can be hard for parents to think of unique trips out for kids which is why the Tees Barrage International White Water Centre has put together different packages.

The White Water Centre has 3 different packages which are suitable for children aged 8+ which include watersports fun day, paddlesport day and sailing days. For children aged 14+ they have put together an extreme experience trip which includes an adventure on the rapids in a 6 person raft and then a trip on the high speed powerboat out into the North Sea.

The Tees Barrage International White Water Centre is located in Stockton on Tees and opened in 1995. Teeside had a £50 million development and the centre was a part of this to re-generate the area. There are a range of exhilarating activities including white water rafting, kayaking, sailing, canoeing and more.
