Veterans, Reservists and Their Loved Ones Receive FREE Reintegration Coaching

CCE-Board Certified Coach, Social Sustainability Advocate and Founder of the First Board Approved Coach Training Program Focusing on Veteran Transition and Reintegration announces new program
SAN DIEGO - April 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Jessi LaCosta is a respected instructor, board-certified coach and advisor in the areas of leadership, branding and career management. She is also the founder of BlueRio Strategies, the Hawk Collaborative and its inaugural training program, Hawk Eye Coach Training []. This online program trains adults to effectively and compassionately help veterans and reservists transition and reintegrate into civilian careers. Hawk Eye Coach Training is the first CCE approved training program in the United States to certify Veteran Development Coaches. As the founder, LaCosta’s vision to support a world that manifests success through civility, compassion, strategy and sustainability, will now also include offering pro bono coaching and one full scholarship to the training program.

For every Hawk Eye Coach Training session that has a minimum enrollment of 6 students, LaCosta will offer six, no-fee, virtual coaching sessions to veterans, reservists or their partners and spouses who are not enrolled as students in the Hawk Eye Coach Training program.  People often remark that having experienced career coaching or leadership coaching is like having someone who is in their corner and who is not afraid to tell them the truth – tell them the truth in a way that allows them to move forward. Coaching offers so many benefits: career clarity, confidence, tools to self-promote in authentic and meaningful ways – tools to manage life with hope, focus and velocity.

One of LaCosta’s former coaching clients reflected on its value,  “I am grateful to have had the opportunity to be coached. After spending 10 years in the military, I left with no confidence in myself, or my future in the civilian world.  Coaching helped me define my strengths, skills and goals. I figured out a college major, improved my resume and LinkedIn profile, interview preparation, and chose a career field.” US Navy Veteran

LaCosta is an intuitive, innovative, compassionate and strategic professional.  She works with clients and students seeing their potential as something that must be illuminated, not shoved aside or ignored. She finds the unique qualities in each person and helps to create career road-maps based on those strengths. Her goal is to train hundreds of coaches so that more veterans, reservists and their families have the tools and the roadmaps to create successful lives.

In addition to the pro bono coaching, for every session that has a minimum of 9 enrolled students – she will offer one full scholarship to the coach-training program.

In response to her experience, Hawk Eye Alumni and Certified Veteran Development Coach (CVDC), Trish Nabors had this to say, “[this program] was a collaborative learning experience where everyone came together as teacher and student. One of the encouraging aspects of Jessi’s’ teaching style, was how she embraced everyone’s input as added value in place of right versus wrong.  I would refer anyone interested in working with our military veterans, without reservation, to be a part of what Jessi has to offer. “ Trish Nabors, Hawk Eye Coach Training Alumni
