Paterson-Based Children’s Charity Launches New Website

Paterson, NJ – Medical Missions for Children (MMC), a Paterson, NJ based non-profit focused on improving the quality of medical treatment being delivered to critically-ill children throughout the world, today announced the re-launch of its institutional website.  Having made significant advancements in its charitable activities in recent years, the agency elected to invest the resources needed to maximize the quality and resourcefulness of its online presence.  The organization is now also exploring the use of several social media platforms to help expand its messaging and awareness to a broader audience.

The new website showcases the four main features of the charity’s Global Telemedicine and Teaching Network (GTTN): (1) the Telemedicine Outreach Program, (2) the Global Video Library of Medicine, (3) the Medical Broadcasting Channel and (4) the Giggles Children’s Theater. Also highlighted are the features and capabilities of the MMC-Panasonic HDTV Studios – a state-of-the-art, high-definition broadcast and record facility (owned by the charity) that is being made available to video production companies in the tri-state area.

In addition, for the first time, MMC’s website has introduced IPTV capability – it’s called “Click TV”.  Also new is the ability to access MMC’s events calendar online and/or make a secured online donation while designating your gift “in honor of” or “in memory of” a friend or relative.
