MW Fly Debuts AEROPOWER Line of Performance Airplane Engines
AEROPOWER Engines with Power Ratings of 95 to 150 Horsepower Come to United States Equipped with P.A.T. Avionics Advanced Instruments
For the last couple of years, the AEROPOWER engines have exclusively been available in Europe. The advanced technology of the engines has taken the aviation industry by storm.
“Since 2011 the AEROPOWER engines have won acclaim from many airplane owners,” said Stefano Marella with MW Fly. “It took eight years of development to create this innovative engine and we are already seeing strong adoption rates across Europe.”
The Italian-built next generation airplane engine leverages the motorsport engine technology that put MW Fly on the worldwide map. Engineers at the manufacturing firm were able to adapt the same knowledge and experience to design and build a reliable, performance-
“AEROPOWER engines are liquid cooled workhorses that have proven reliability and standard built-in top of the line features such as: electronic fuel injection, integrated reduction gear, plug and play architecture and an electro-hydraulic governor.” said Marco Mille with P.A.T. Avionics. “It is easy to operate. In fact, in full automatic you can forget your variable pitch propeller. The PROP-M technology will set the pitch for the best performance in any flight phase.”
PROP-M is an electronic-hydraulic governor that is specifically designed for AEROPOWER engines. The engine can be provided with an integrated hydraulic circuit used in conjunction with in-flight adjustable propellers.
“For pilots looking for the ultimate in performance, there is nothing better than the AEROPOWER line of airplane engines,” Guido Fantini said. “Come and see the next generation of amazing airplane power at SUNnFUN.”
At SUNnFUN 2013, MW Fly will showcase the AEROPOWER B22R 4-cylinder engine with 130HP horizontal cylinders, injection system with dual ECU, integrated reduction gear by weight and innovative solutions custom made for light and experimental aircraft. They will also debut a set of new engine electronics, including the HSA-M engine health status annunciator and the PROP-M modules developed in collaboration with P.A.T. AVIONICS.
The SUNnFUN international fly-in and expo takes place from April 9-14 in Lakeland, Fla. For more information about the MW Fly line aircraft engines and P.A.T. Avionics systems, please come and see us at booth NE50 or visit www.mwfly.it and www.patavionics.com.
