Rachael Burns to compete for Miss Texas International 2013

GRAPEVINE, Texas - April 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Miss Denton International 2013, Rachael Burns, will be competing on April 14, 2013 for the title of Miss Texas International.  Her platform is "One Child. One Advocate. One Voice." and she is an ambassador for Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children.  She is also an ambassador for the City of Denton's Denton Plan 2030 and is on the Passion Committee for the American Heart Association.  Rachael is a professional ballet dancer and works for a plasma donation center.  She hopes to win the crown so that she can continue to promote CASA on a statewide and hopefully international level.

Founded in 1985, the International System has earned a reputation of a professional, top of the line Pageant.  Miss Texas International is open to unmarried ladies age 19 to 29 as of July 1st of the competition year. They aim to uplift young women who want to excel in their lives and make a difference in their communities. They celebrate your energy and your commitment to challenge yourself.

The 2013 Miss Texas Pageant will take place April 2013 in Grapevine, TX at the Palace Theatre. The winner of the Miss Texas Pageant will receive an awesome prize package valued at more than $15,000 and the chance to represent Texas in the Miss International Pageant.
