Clark Seif Clark’s Derrick Denis Elected as IAQA’s 1st Vice President

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - April 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Last month, the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) wrapped up their 17th Annual Meeting & Indoor Environment & Energy Expo (IE3) in Orlando, Florida.  The important event brought together indoor air quality (IAQ) professionals from across the globe.  

At the event, the IAQA’s Board of Directors held their annual election of officer for the 2013-2014 terms.  Derrick Denis, CIEC, CIAQP, of Clark Seif Clark, Inc., was once again elected to the position of IAQA’s First Vice President.  

Derrick has made a name for himself in the indoor air quality industry due to his years in the industry and past positions he has held within the IAQA.  Those positions have included Vice President, Treasurer, Chapter Relations Committee Chair and more.  He remains the current Director of the Phoenix, Arizona Chapter of the IAQA.  

During the technical presentations, he also had the opportunity to share his knowledge and expertise.  "Asbestos: Debunking Myths, Spreading Truths & Sharing Advice for the Real World" was attended by many who learned directly from Derrick’s many years of experience investigating and mitigating issues dealing with asbestos in residential, commercial and industrial facilities.  

“It’s a privilege to continue to serve the Indoor Air Quality Association and its members,” reported Derrick.  “IAQ issues are real and can have a profound impact on people’s lives.  I hope to further the goals and reach of the IAQA to help improve people’s indoor air quality through my knowledge of the industry.”
