Venice Christian School’s Unique Paper Drive is Selling Toilet Paper and Paper Towels

VENICE, Fla. - April 1, 2013 - PRLog -- Instead of asking their students’ families to buy junk food or other overpriced products, VCS is approaching their parents and the businesses in their community with a more sensible program and will be selling paper towels and toilet paper at great prices.

"Fundraising is a necessary activity of every school but we look at our paper drive as more of a supply system than a typical fundraiser,” said VCS principal, Jerry Frimmel, “We can make the money we need for our gym by giving people a great deal on things they already have on their grocery lists.  In addition, we’ve teamed up with a few local charities that truly need these products; now VCS families and local businesses can support the community by making a donation of paper products to these great causes too.”  Included on the list of local charities that will receive paper towels and toilet tissue are The Salvation Army, Center of Hope, Pregnancy Solutions and Agape Flights.  

Supporters will purchase cases of their Heavenly Soft products supplied by PaperFunds, a Nokomis, FL company, and pay about $1 per roll of paper towels and $.29 per roll of toilet paper which is comparable or better than any grocery store pricing.  

VCS will also offer their great deal to restaurants, motels, and other businesses in the area.  Their 500 sheet, individually wrapped toilet tissue roll priced at $.52 per roll enables these businesses to stock up on something they will always need.  All products are two-ply and manufactured in Haines City, FL using recycled or sustainable managed forestry fibers and green manufacturing practices.  

VCS invites any families or businesses in the area that need fairly priced paper products (everyone) to stop by their school office at 1200 Center Road to see the samples and pick up an order form.  Participants can expect to receive their products on or around May 16, 2013.
