Karl Perman Joins CRSI as Senior Manager Consulting Services

(CRSI), is excited to announce the addition of Karl Perman to its team of dedicated NERC (693 and 706) Compliance and security consulting experts. Karl Perman joins CRSI as Senior Manager Consulting Services, and will be leading and growing client engagements to help energy companies measure, assess, and improve the performance and profitability of their security and regulatory compliance initiatives. Karl, former Director of Security of the North American Transmission Forum (NATF), has 25+ years of business protection, compliance, risk management, human resources and law enforcement experience with a proven ability to be resourceful, strategic, innovative, and detail oriented.

Karl is formerly the Manager of Infrastructure Protection and Regulatory Compliance for a large energy provider with responsibilities that included: managed infrastructure protection, regulatory compliance, crisis management and business continuity functions of a 19,500 employee, multi-site electric generation and electric and gas delivery company; developed NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection program including implementation plan, employee awareness campaign and key performance indicators; implemented enterprise-wide security technology infrastructure roadmap; and introduced a balanced scorecard and performance improvement plan for security vendors.
