Spring Is The Time to Insulate Your Garage Door

“If you have a little skill and patience, insulating a door should not take too long,” he said.  “It can be done quickly with three sheets of 4x8 insulating material and some insulating window film.  Choose material that has foil on one side which will face the garage door.  Carefully measure the door and cut the material with a utility knife.  For the vertical dimension, cut about one-half inch less that the measurement.  For the horizontal dimension, not include the lips where the rollers are.”

“This will definitely keep some heat from your garage,” he added.
