‘Songkran Feast’ at Kris Restaurant in Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai

AL BARSHA, UAE - March 31, 2013 - PRLog -- The Kris Restaurant at Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai is all set to spice up Thailand’s popular cultural festival Songkran – an occasion which marks the Thai New Year -- by serving up a veritable “Songkran Feast” for six days beginning April 13.

Charges are equally enticing with dinner buffet priced at AED 95 for buffet and AED 165 including house beverages. The festival dates and timings are April 13 to 18 from 6pm to 11pm.

Songkran festivities in Thailand mark the Thai New Year. Traditionally, Thais perform the Rod Nam Dum Hua ritual to herald in the first day of Songkran, also officially celebrated as the National Elderly Day. Obeisance to seniors is demonstrated in the act of fragrant water being poured by the younger folks into the elders’ palms. Festivities on the occasion take an enjoyable turn when visitors are drenched with water.

Located on the 19th floor at Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai, Kris offers breath-taking uninterrupted panoramic views of Dubai with an irresistible choice of Pan Asian specialties.
