Share the Love with Kara Square’s Ukulele Love Song Album Under CC License

March 28, 2013 - PRLog -- Next Gen music label ArtisTech Media is delighted to announce the release of Love Songs for Everyone but Especially Uke on TuneTrack today.  Love Songs for Everyone but Especially Uke is a love focused folk-pop album by ukulele singer-songwriter Kara Square.  All of the album songs are released with Creative Commons licenses (CC-BY-NC-SA) to encourage sharing and continued creativity.  

“I absolutely love writing love songs,” Kara Square shares.  “I’ve spent the last year writing, recording, mixing, and mastering love songs.  The process lifted my spirits.  As I recorded the songs, I shared the vocal and ukulele stems on my favorite music website, ccMixter, which is an international remix community.  Each time the songs were remixed, I felt this loving surge of inspiration to continue the project.”

Kara Square calls herself “a nerd who will write a song about anything.”  As half of the duo Team Smile and Nod (Look Both Ways Before You Die [2008], Mourning Time [2011], Dust From the Stars [upcoming 2013 release]), she writes personal and political electro pop songs.  As Mind Map That, she humorously covers topics such as organ donation, fexting (fake texting), cats, coconuts, and poop.  Love Song for Everyone but Especially Uke is her first full length solo album.
