Judith Miller Band will perform live jazz music while guests mingle, relax and enjoy the view. Amazing raffle prizes will be available to win in an effort to raise funds. This is the third annual Toast to Awareness event which has proven to be a successful event that draws a great crowd and insures a fun evening. Angelheart is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foster and adoption agency that serves neglected and abused children and trains foster families in Travis and Williamson Counties and the Dallas area. They strive to provide safe and encouraging homes to the children they serve as well as recruit foster parents that can provide these permanent homes. Most foster children are unable to return home due to severe abusive and neglectful situations. In turn, it's Angelheart's goal to get to know their kids so they can determine their interests and place them where they will be best nourished and happy. Mary Ann Gay, Angelheart representative, quotes, "Angelheart is so excited to host our third annual Toast to Awareness event this year! We want to graciously thank Kindred Oaks for hosting our event at their beautiful location and to all the local businesses, volunteers and the supportive guests who attend, making this event a huge success. Our goal at Angelheart is that our kids will not live as victims to their circumstances, but will be able to use their circumstances to help serve others. We firmly believe that together we can make a difference in the lives of children in our community and fundraising events like these help us in obtaining these goals." This is a free event, but cash or check donations will be appreciated at the door. Please RSVP at www.angelheartkids.org by April 20th.
