TUALATIN, Ore. - March 27, 2013 - PRLog -- TUALATIN, OREGON & WASHINGTON DC—The tragic murder of Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield was a shock to many Americans, yet none were as impacted as their families. Zero Tolerance Knives, a brand of Kai USA Ltd. of Tualatin, Oregon, has joined forces with the Red Circle Foundation, Operation Hawkeye, and SOFREP to create this benefit auction on behalf of the Chris Kyle Foundation and the Chad Littlefield family.

The auction includes an impressive collection of eight hard-use tactical knives including a Zero Tolerance 0561. The 0561 was designed by renowned custom knifemaker Rick Hinderer in collaboration with Zero Tolerance. The blade of this very special 0561 is engraved with Rick Hinderer's autograph; the knife is serial number 2124.

The auction is a collaboration of organizations dedicated to informing and supporting the families of Special Forces service men and women who have been lost in both foreign and domestic wars.

Bidding starts March 27, 2013 at noon PDT and continues until April 4, 2013 at 11:59 pm PDT.

The auction, hosted by BiddingForGood.com, will take place online at

In addition to a premium quality Zero Tolerance knife, the winner bidder will take home a Tactical T-Shirts Seal Team 3 “The Legend” Chris Kyle shirt and a Zero Tolerance baseball cap, and an Operation Hawkeye Patch as additional bonuses.

On Saturday, February 2, 2013, Kyle and Littlefield were shot and killed at the Rough Creek Lodge shooting range in Erath County, Texas by 25-year-old fellow veteran Eddie Ray Routh, whom Kyle and Littlefield had purportedly taken to the gun range in an effort to help him with his post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The proceeds of this auction will go directly to benefit the family of Chad Littlefield in memory of his friend Chief Petty Officer and for Navy Seal Sniper Chris Kyle and to assist Red Circle Foundation and Operation Hawkeye.
