StoAmigo’s New QR Code Feature Makes Digital Media File Sharing Instantaneous and Fun!

LAS VEGAS - March 26, 2013 - PRLog -- StoAmigo, the cloud-based media sharing and streaming system by Duvon Corporation has released a new QR code feature for Android users.

Ben Ow, President and Chief Creative Officer of Duvon, explains, “We now give StoAmigo users the option of generating a QR code for files they want to share. The QR code pops up on the device and can be read on the spot by another smart device. This instantly opens the link to whatever file, folder or list the user has chosen to share. The shared items can be enjoyed directly from StoAmigo’s cloud-based system without downloading.”

Unlike the “beaming” technology offered by giants like Samsung and Google which only works on certain Samsung phones, StoAmigo’s new QR code feature offers instant file sharing between any devices. There’s no need to tap two Samsung Galaxy phones together – any smart devices can be best friends.

StoAmigo offers unique sharing capability with added security. “Our customizable permission settings give our users complete control of their digital media,” Ow says. “Shares can be customized based on the recipient, and can be modified or retracted at any time. The user also has the option to give the recipient download permission, in which case the files can be saved to the recipient's device.”

Other great features of StoAmigo's Android app include a continuous play feature for uninterrupted streaming of playlists and video files, and the ability to create multimedia lists (photos, music files, documents, and video) to be shared.
