Marshall Barnes Time Machine Distribution Deal Sought With Kenya Moore's Moore Vision Media

With the rapidly progressing environment for Marshall Barnes' ventures, a distribution deal with Kenya Moore's Moore Vision Media has been deemed a possibility - if they can be reached.

March 26, 2013 - PRLog -- If Kenya Moore's Moore Vision Media can be reached, they may have a unique opportunity to scoop Spike Lee over a very unique subject - time travel.

"I think it would be an interesting departure for her yet well within the demographic that she is familiar with," Marshall Barnes says, who has a production in development about his search to build the world's first time machine. "The fact is that although you'll see articles like the one at i09 about Mallett unlocking the mysteries of time travel ( http://io9.com/5017617/spike-lee-will-uncover-the-mysteries-of-time-travel ), the fact is that I know more about the subject than Mallett ever will and expect to have a working time machine on the micro-scale before the end of this summer."

Thus Marshall Barnes is setting the stage to upstage Spike Lee's venture to release a film about Ronald Mallett and his quest to build the world's first time machine. Already owning the means of production, and with archived footage already in the can, the only thing left is to get a distribution deal to replace the one he had with a New York company that had an internal split which left him without a deal. The discovery of Kenya Moore, however, gave him a new idea.

"I was in a hotel room, while on tour and saw Kenya Moore on TV and something about her having a production company, so I looked her up. Her company is supposed to be Moore Vision Media, but their website with GoDaddy is down, so I don't know if it even still exists".

Marshall says he got the idea of approaching the company about a distribution deal for a documentary about his time machine research because of the interest that Spike Lee has in the story of Ronald Mallett of the University of Connecticut with whom Marshall is competing to build the world's first time machine. Spike Lee bought the rights to Mallett's story in 2008 but hasn't done anything with it. Meanwhile, Mallett's project was projected to not have a demonstrable device to test until 2022, according to a documentary on the History Channel. Marshall, who is a producer/director in his own right, doesn't need a production company for his project, just a distribution deal and Moore's firm is listed as a distributor, which is why Marshall saw the possibility.

"She doesn't have a major firm yet,", he explained, "I mean they have one film to their credit, and my project is going to make history, so it's a case where I see mutual benefits here. It's not like they're a major Hollywood house yet. The other thing is that I don't know if they'd consider TV distribution, which is really what I have in mind, but for the buzz this project will create, I think they might talk about it".

The competition between Marshall and Mallett ( http://thegreattimemachinerace.weebly.com ) is a balanced affair in the PR realm only, where Mallett has a head start and the power of his university behind him. But where it counts, in the realm of actual technological development, Mallett has been taking a pounding as Marshall's announcement, in late spring of 2012, of his intentions to attempt to build a machine that would compete with Mallett's design, was followed with the mid August announcement that he had successfully built a prototype, which was then followed by announcements of doing public demonstrations in schools and outside lectures. Before the end of December, Marshall announced that his Verdrehung Fan™ had reached the first stage requirement set by Mallett - to demonstrably warp space, leaving only the question of obtaining enough power to warp time as well. He now has the funding that will enable him to pursue that research and expects to achieve that goal by the end of the summer, approximately a year after he began his quest.

"I'm looking at the equipment that we will need to acquire, experiment schedules, locations, and all the rest of it, all of which will make great material for the documentary, as well as scenes from my tour."

Marshall is keeping the parameters of his project tightly aligned with those established by Mallett, which will in fact not only keep him within the context of the standards that Mallett set for himself, but will actually be easier and faster for Marshall to defeat Mallett in the race.

"We are already getting optical phenomena that is invisible to the naked eye and yet visible to video cameras. We are now going to switch up to infrared and ultra-violet. I'm expecting that we will hit the threshold where photons and electrons will be detectable across the visible, infrared and ultraviolet spectrums, disappearing into the vortex of the Verdrehung Fan™and going back to the past, meeting the time machine stage described by Mallett, before the end of August."

If indeed Marshall meets that requirement, Ronald Mallett will not be known for having the world's first time machine and he will lose all rights to describe himself that way, a situation that Marshall is prepared to legally enforce.

"I offered Mallett a chance to work with me but he gave me this, 'go run along and play, little boy, attitude. That's when I told him - if I get the Verdrehung Fan™ to work, he would lose all rights to claiming to have the world's first time machine and he said that he understood. I wasn't playing and I'll force Ben Bowie to put a disclaimer on that documentary of his about Mallett as well.'"

The documentary Marshall referred to is The World's First Time Machine, a 2003 BBC documentary featuring Mallett. It is set in the future and refers to Mallett as having created the world's first time machine.
