USO – NC Model Summer Fashion Competition Fundraiser in Lincolnton NC

Models from all over the world are welcome to attend the Model / Summer Fashion Competition Fundraiser presented to you by Iron Station Thunder, Big Ken Johnson and Vyzion Entertainment.

RALEIGH, N.C. - March 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Models from all over the world are welcome to attend the Model / Summer Fashion Competition presented to you by Iron Station Thunder, Big Ken Johnson and Vyzion Entertainment.

This dynamic team will assist the USO of NC with helping the United States Armed Forces and their families. The purpose of this Model Contest is to raise awareness and funds to help a range of programs and services included in the USO of NC (http://uso-nc.org/our-programs/programs/) that assist our troops in their transition from the battlefield back to the community and while they’re in active duty.

Proceeds and Donations from this event will help provide the following programs provided by the USO of NC:

·         USO of NC mobile (http://uso-nc.org/our-centers/mobile-unit/)

·         Deployment & Homecoming Support

·         Honors Support Team

·         Single Warrior Birthday Cakes

·         Smiles Over Miles

·         United Through Reading

·         Sports & Entertainment

·         Food Pantry

The USO of NC (http://uso-nc.org/) is an independent 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit. The USO of NC does not receive any direct financial support from the national USO, government or the Department of Defense. All donations will be used to serve Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, Airmen, Coast Guardsmen, Reservists, National Guardsmen and their families based in, deployed from NC.

These events are being hosted by two of North Carolina's number one radio personalities.  Jackie and Marcy  from Fox 99.7 (http://www.wrfx.com/main.html).  International Models will be present as the special guest judge.  DJ Jojo (http://vyzionradio.com/dj-jojo-charlotte-nightlife/) and DJ Steven K from the world’s number one internet radio station, Vyzion Radio (http://vyzionradio.com/), will be the special DJ for this event.

Each of the models will compete for the chance to be featured in a Custom Motorcycle and Video Calendar Shoot, receive international recognition, exposure, receive numerous prizes, possible contracts, professional opportunities, skills, experience and much more.

The first contest will be in Boone NC June 1st. The Second event will be in Linconlton NC (http://www.ci.lincolnton.nc.us/) on June 8th. All events will be lived streamed for international and world-wide exposure.  Twelve models will be selected for the Custom Motorcycle calendar / video shoot.

Being that Greg Bailey, CEO of Vyzion Radio (http://player.liquidcompass.net/p/WVYZIR) is a disabled veteran owned business owner, he feels obligated to reach out to show support for all of our soldiers abroad and across the world who have fought for our country.  Greg personally witnessed the benefits of the USO of NC helping the morale and welfare of soldiers and family members.  Greg Bailey has joined forces with Bryan McLure of Iron Station Thunder (http://www.istmotorcycles.com/index.htm) and the city of Lincolnton to insure that we get the awareness out of this great cause.
