LONDON - March 26, 2013 - PRLog -- The Microsoft Dynamics CRM iPad browser experience delivers the full sales experience for a connected user:

- Lead to opportunity close - The client delivers the full sales process supporting lead to close

- Web experience - It is a web based experience optimised for touch on an iPad

- Process driven user flows - The new process UI is fully supported

- Inline editing experience - Rather than popup windows which do not operate well on safari the UI uses inline editing

- Support landscape and portrait modes - The experience is equally fluent in landscape or portrait mode

-Online customers only - In the initial release this is only available for online customers. It will come to on premise customers in the Orion timeframe

Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online iPad sales experience functionality been released offering "client management on the move" capability for sales staff equipped with iPads. Upon its release Microsoft stated, "We've designed this feature for sales representatives who need to get work done from the road, while they're on sales calls. We've eliminated pop-up windows from the user interface and made it simpler to use with the touch screen."

The iPad sales experience is automatically enabled for all new users of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. All current users will have the functionality enabled following installation of the latest product updates from Microsoft. Please ensure you contact your business partner before installing the updates to ensure a smooth upgrade in functionality.

Users will notice the minimised, sales centric options within the left hand navigation pane designed to maximise focus and productivity for sales staff on the move. You may be able to navigate to other forms, but viewing them will take you to Mobile Express for Microsoft Dynamics CRM-you can make quick edits there, but it's not designed for high-volume work.

With a heavy focus in the cloud, mobile working and social expect exciting steps from Microsoft to ensure Microsoft Dynamics CRM maintains its place as the CRM system of choice with over 3 million users across 37,000 organisations worldwide.

Key Points of interest

- Users must have ios6 installed on their devices with access available simply through the web browser. Those without ios6 on their device will automatically be redirected to the Mobile Express User Interface

- Users will be unable to access the process editor for sales (or service) forms.

- The ability to share records is currently disabled

- New charts, dashboards and grids are unable to be created via the iPad

- Entities that do not appear on the iPad sales experience to maximise sales productivity on the road include; Goal, Rollup Query, Rollup Field, Marketing List, Quote, Product and Article

- Because of the web browser reliance there is no offline working capability within the initial release; expect to see this at some stage in the future

- Customised forms will always open in Mobile Express
