New Global General Manager appointed to Adlux

BONDI JUNCTION, Australia - March 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Adlux (http://www.adlux.com), a global online marketing and technology leader, is excited to announce the appointment of Dion Sullivan as the new Global General Manager. Mr Sullivan will work closely with CEO Nicholas Stavropoulos to facilitate the continued growth for the company in 2013 and beyond.

“Dion joined Adlux in January 2013 as the Executive Vice President, and his promotion to Global General Manager marks a new phase in the company’s growth and development,” said Nicholas Stavropoulos, CEO of Adlux. “Dion is a highly-regarded executive whose expertise makes him an important force for Adlux. We recognize what an invaluable asset Dion was, and the decision to progress him to Global General Manager only after 3 months was the natural choice.”

Sullivan is a highly respected and influential veteran of the marketing industry with more than 20 years experience. He comes to Adlux from Betfair, the world’s largest internet gaming company, where he led all North American marketing strategic efforts. He has held a variety of significant leadership positions, including Clairol – at the time, a division of Bristol Myers Squibb – which saw him become a recipient of a Gold Effie award in advertising effectiveness for their unique and recognizable advertising campaigns.

Sullivan also spearheaded the launch of the first generation e-commerce business, FTD.com, transforming a struggling 90 year old, not-for-profit company, into a highly successful for-profit, e-commerce company that listed on NASDAQ in 1999. He collected a second Effie award in the process.

“With his past executive roles and tremendous industry knowledge at world leading companies including Bank of America, MTV, Bristol Myers Squibb and Betfair, I believe that with Dion at the helm, he will bring a global perspective to Adlux’s growth and prosperity plans for now and the future and we’ll be able to deliver on our very ambitious plans,” continued Stavropoulos.
