Panther Knob Cottages celebrates 18 years of service

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. - March 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Panther Knob Cottages a vacation rental company located in Pigeon Forge, TN is celebrating its eighth year in 2013.  

Panther Knob Cottages was a dream of my Husband & I. We loved The Smokey Mountains and visited often with our children. We decided To move to the mountains 32 years ago to raise our boys and enjoy all the Beauty of the Beautiful Mountains. We realize the need for vacation rentals as we had a lot of visitors through the years that loved the area also and wanted their own place to enjoy during their stay. There were not that many vacation rentals that were affordable and spacious so we decided to go forward with our plans. We bought our land on a lovely mountain and close to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. My husband drew up a spacious but simple floor plan design for a cottage and starting building. Owning his own Construction Company was a definite plus and building the cabins was a team effort we truly enjoyed. He changed the floor plans during the process to offer different sizes. I marketed the cabins and was so happy when the business took off and we had to build more cabins. I loved decorating them and making them feel like when you stayed in our cottages you felt like you were at home and that it had all the comforts of home.. We have put our heart & soul into the business. We have witness so many changes over the years but we have kept our cabins simple they don't have all the bells & whistles but our customers love them and have been faithful through the years. Some of our customers have stayed with us from the time their children were small and now they are grown up. Some of the children come here and stay with us on their honeymoons then they continue to come back with their children.

I attend personally to all of my customers as I always answer all calls. I have so many regular customers that when they call I know just what they need and I always try to make sure they are well taken care of and Happy. And I love the new customers that are staying with us for the first time. I try and let them know what attractions are in the area and answer any questions they might have That is our Goal to make our customers stay a pleasant and happy experience which they can share with others and they do. We get so many referrals and our repeat customers continue to come back again and again. They love staying with us and we make the process so simple with no hassles. I am old school and we have built our business on treating people like we would want to be treated. I have customers that leave me such nice notes thanking me and I keep them all. It makes me feel like I have done my best to make them Happy. My husband does all the maintenance work and helps me with cleaning the cottages. We like the hands on approach we give to all of our cottages. We want to make sure each time someone checks out that we go over the cottage and make sure it is ready for the next customer so we do all of it ourselves.

Our Cottages are just minutes from Pigeon Forge and Dollywood and they Are nestled in the Mountains with lots of woods. Very peaceful & Quiet. We offer 2 to 4 Bedroom Cabins with 1 to 2 baths & some have whirlpool Tubs. They all Are fully furnished and have fireplaces. All the cottages also have nice Decks with Grills. We haven't changed are affordable rates since we have opened. We want to offer a good
value for our customers and with our business being so successful we know we have met that challenge.
