Follow on Google News | Acclaimed Atlanta Artist Andrea Costa Brings her Breathtaking Paintings to Fort MyersAcclaimed Atlanta painter Andrea Costa, whose stunning landscapes, boats, birds and florals are collected nationwide, will be the guest of honor at a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 4 at Green Reed Interiors, 1939 Park Meadows Drive.
By: Ascend Creative Marketing & PR The reception is open to the public, and Costa will offer several paintings for sale that she created exclusively for her Southwest Florida visit. Costa is the cousin of Lisa Green, who owns the interior design studio with her partner, Sue Reed. Costa’s artwork hangs in galleries in Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Texas and North Florida. This is her first exposure to the Fort Myers market. “I’ve been introduced to this wonderful area by Lisa and Sue, and I’m excited to come meet some new collectors interested in my work,” said Costa of her visit. Costa studied art at Clayton State University, and perfected her art through years of study with Atlanta’s Chris di Domizio, best known for his “Old World Master” techniques. Her paintings are owned by noted names like Denver Broncos Quarterback Peyton Manning and superstar chef Paula Deen, have been used in Hollywood movies, and are favored by some of the country’s top interior designers. Costa’s rural roots and endless love affair with the land and water are the source of inspiration for her luminous and masterful landscape paintings, as well as those of boats and shorebirds. Collectors are drawn to her classic style and creative energy. “My goal with each piece is to embrace the beauty of the painting’s subject, and lift the viewers’ spirit,” she said. More information about Costa, including samples of her work and a gallery listing, is available on her website, www.andreacosta.me.
