NEW YORK - March 25, 2013 - PRLog -- NYC fashion designer, Hilton Hollis, is partnering with the Children’s Museum of Houston for a Spring trunk show at Joseph’s from March 27-29, 2013.  The Children’s Museum of Houston transforms communities through innovative, child-centered learning.  A portion of the proceeds with go towards the museum’s continuing efforts.

The Children’s Museum of Houston was founded in 1980 by a group of Houston parents who hoped to elevate early childhood development to a community-wide priority.  Since then, the Museum has grown to serve more than 850,000 people annually, with workshops in literacy, science, math, and social studies.  The Museum offers a multitude of exhibits that engage kids in the ultimate learning experience.  Picked as “America’s No. 1 Children’s Museum” by Parents magazine, the Museum sparks a passion for lifelong learning by serving the community’s needs.

Joseph’s, established in 1930, is among the top four retail operations in the US selling designer apparel, handbags, and cosmetics.  Established by brothers Philip and Henry Wexner, Joseph’s has become the foundation of the Wexner Companies and undergone major growth in luxury retail.  With locations in Houston and Memphis, Joseph’s prides itself in being an intimate, highly focused specialty store.

The Houston location, known for its selection of luxury brand shoes, is having an exclusive Hilton Hollis Spring 2013 apparel trunk show.  The collection titled, “Ethereal Angels”, is free spirited with fabrics that float over the body.  Casual tops and dresses encompass free movement and emphasize a woman’s femininity with soft prints and explosion of color.

Hilton: “As a young boy growing up with a yearning for creative expression, I was limited on the amount of exposure I received to the arts.  The Children's Museum of Houston and its programs are vital to the development and success of many children.  This partnership is about supporting their vision and goals through my love of fashion."
