Area Finland Speech and Evaluation Contest will be held next Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Helsinki. The venue is Arkadia Bookshop, Nervanderinkatu 11, located in the Töölö district. The contest starts at 11:00am with a keynote address by ambassador Bruce Oreck. During the breaks and immediately after the contest, a series of artistic performances are scheduled (visual arts, singing, music playing, etc.). As from 15:30, a “speech marathon” will take place with a wide variety of speakers (in English). The entrance fee is 5 euros. This is a great opportunity for the general public to watch and to listen to inspiring speeches and speakers from all around Finland.
