AUSTIN, Texas - March 23, 2013 - PRLog -- “Conquering Waste & Inefficiencies in Capital Projects,” is the theme of the 5th Annual Leadership in Capital Projects (LinCP) Forum to be held on April 2-3, 2013, at the Hyatt Lost Pines Resort just east of Austin. The Forum’s keynote presentations feature Carroll G. Robinson, Houston Community College Board of Trustees, District IV, on April 2,
and Mary Scott Nabers, Founder and CEO, Strategic Partnerships, Inc., author, “Collaboration Nation-How public-private ventures are revolutionizing the business of government,” on April 3.

The program consists of three KEY TOPICS:

Topic #1, Waste and Inefficiencies-Identification and Impacts, with moderator, Carolyn Karabinos (Balfour Beatty) and presenters and panelists from Parkland Hospital, KGA Architecture, Momark, and KAI Texas.

Topic #2, BIM Integration-From Design through Construction to Facilities Management, with moderator, Oza Bouchard (Leo A Daly), and  panelists from UTMB-Galveston, Balfour Beatty, Satterfield & Pontikes, Carson Design, and Intemation.

Topic #3, The Evolution of Capital Project Design & Delivery on the Public Sector, with moderator, Rob Roy Parnell (Texas State University System) and additional presenters and panelists from Randall Reaves Esq., Linbeck, PageSoutherlandPage, and the City of Austin.

In connection with this annual Forum, the Institute for Leadership in Capital Projects (I-LinCP) holds its Annual Board and Member Meeting on April 1, beginning at 2:00 p.m. This meeting is open to all I-LinCP members and is free.
