Telemedicine Firm Recruiting Talented Leadership for Expansion Plans

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - April 15, 2013 - PRLog -- SOUTHFIELD, MI -- GetMedCallAssist™, the only telemedicine service that accepts emergency and non-emergency calls without members having to schedule an appointment or wait for a physician call back, has appointed technology and finance veteran Blaise Dietz as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Blaise Dietz is a Detroit-area consultant and business development partner that brings more than 20 years experience to GetMedCallAssist in medical technology, commercial finance, database management and web portal development.  Founded by emergency trained physicians and medical professionals in the Pacific North West, Dietz says GetMedCallAssist is working to expand its services throughout the United States to eliminate the barriers between the physician and the patient.

“This is the solution for a portion of today’s health care crisis,” said Dietz. “By leveraging cloud based technology and reduced data costs, GetMedCallAssist physicians are saving individuals, families and companies money.  We have an experienced team of medical professionals and are working to expand our operations nationwide this year.”  Dietz noted a recent study from BCC Research that the telemedicine market is expected to grow to $27.3 billion in 2016.

In addition to his duties as CEO of GetMedCallAssist, Dietz is a Managing Director at The Cypress Organization, LLC, involved in the strategic advisory of medical companies. Dietz is also managing director at Vaccines on the Go Inc., the nation’s largest provider of in-home and in-office immunization services. Dietz was a managing director with investment banking group Charlotte Capital Partners Inc. working in the capital markets division. He has written extensively about secondary markets and his whole loan trading experience with direct institutional sales. Dietz is a graduate of Western Michigan University studying philosophy, chemistry and writing.

Dietz pointed out that GetMedCallAssist’s primary objective is to reduce utilization costs of more expensive health insurance plans for employers and add immediate value to individuals by encouraging members to “Call A Dr. First”(tm).

“When members call a GetMedCallAssist doctor first they can save thousands of dollars by solving hundreds of the most common ailments over the phone and web,” said Dietz. “GetMedCallAssist is the first non-insurance health care plan to provide a customized, prescription medical kit so physicians are prepared to treat patients for common emergencies at their home or office.”
