Follow on Google News | Prem student Art Exhibition “Survivors” opening on 26 MarchAn array of artwork will adorn the walls of the Prem Art House from Tuesday 26 March to Monday 1 April. It is the final IB DP art exhibit for Grade 12 students but the exhibition will also showcase work from Grade 7-11 students.
Prem Art and Design teacher, Emily Wold, coordinates the show. The insides of Studios 2 and 3 have been completely created by Grade 12 students. Each student has a portfolio of work. They chose the exhibit layout, pieces for exhibition and created the poster for the exhibit. The selected the theme of ‘Survivor” The outside of the studios will feature pieces selected by the visual arts staff. Works range from Grade 8 perspective drawings to Grade 11 found object sculptures. Ajan Emily says. “We have some very talented art students at Prem and we are looking forward to showing their work to the public.” The opening reception for the exhibition will be held from 6:30 – 8:00 pm on Tuesday 26 March. Refreshments will be served. The art show will be open to the public from 3:00 – 5:00 pm on 27 – 29 March and from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm on Monday 1 April. The Prem Art House is located on the main campus of Prem Tinsulanonda International School. A small selection of work from students in Grades K1 - 12 will also be featured at the Chiang Mai International Schools art exhibition at Chiang Mai University from 3 – 9 May. End
