Follow on Google News | No Animal Should Be Without a HomeTrusted Homebuyers of Millersville celebrated the Christmas spirit by supporting BARCS, Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (www.baltimoreanimalshelter.org).
The evening was filled with good food, dancing and the live auction. The event was held at Snyder’s Willow Grove, 841 Hammonds Ferry Road in Linthicum. Music was supplied by DJ Wayne Stankiewicz. A few of the auction items that were supplied by THB included a Basket of Cheer, two round trip Southwest airline tickets to anywhere in the country, and an Apple I-Pad. The highest selling item was a Cal Ripken Jersey that was autographed the day he was inducted into the Hall of Fame. The auction raised over $3500. This could potentially for one month feed and spay or neuter twenty abandoned dogs or cats, save one seriously injured or ill animal and supply medications for all of BARCS dogs and cats. So many lives changed for the better. The list of attendees included JoAnne Goldberger, a representative of BARCS, the staff of Trusted Homebuyers as well as local Title Companies, Lenders, and Contractors.
