The Select Group To Open Boston Office Next Month

RALEIGH, N.C. - March 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Sheldon Wolitski, founder and CEO of The Select Group, an IT and engineering recruiting firm in Raleigh, has announced that the company will expand into the Boston market with a new office. The office, which will open April 1, will employ five to 10 staff members, with the intent to add another five or so in the next several months.

Marc Brodeur, formerly of the company’s main office in Raleigh, will head up the Boston branch. Additional employees who will be starting out in the new office include Tim Harper, Trevor King, Brett Rickley and Jessica Sears.

The Select Group has been looking to expand into additional markets since launching in Raleigh in 1999. The company strives to eventually be in multiple metropolitan areas to ensure its services are felt by as broad of the U.S. population as possible.

“We are consistently looking into other markets where we need to expand, and we found that Boston provided an excellent opportunity for us to hit a market in need of IT staffing solutions,” Wolitski says. “We serve all types of companies with a technical presence and hope to expand on existing customer relationships and create new ones in the IT and engineering sectors through this expansion.”

The office, which is the seventh one for the company, will be located at 275 Grove St., Suite 2-400, Newton, Mass., 02466.
