“Il Modellismo” new edition Istituto di Moda Burgo

MILAN - March 19, 2013 - PRLog -- The text is checked every three years to be move with the times; in this edition there are several changes in the parties on the graphics and texts to make the explanation more clear. Now the bilingual book (English/Italian) is composed of 463 pages, 300 sketches, 180 graphics and the hardcover is 22 X 31 cm. The book shows the “Istituto di Moda Burgo” study method, starting from the bases of woman pattern making to the specialized pattern making. In the first part, the book explains the bases of woman pattern making: Basic Bodice, Basic Dress with darts, dart in transfer. In the second part the book explains the study of the collars, sleeves, skirts, shirts, classic trousers, simple and night dresses, jackets and coats. Then the book analyzes the specific fashion fields patterns, starting from the study of the premaman clothing to the wedding dress, underwear, beachwear, manswera and childrenswear. The last part is dedicated to the explanation of the correction of errors, of the grading, CAD CAM and of the study of commodities.
The conclusion is reserved to the " Fashion Dictionary" to help the student find any specific term.
