The Color Range command selects a specified color or color subset within an existing selection or an entire image. If you want to replace a selection such as background, be sure to deselect everything before applying this command.To refine an existing selection, use the Color Range command repeatedly to select a subset of colors. After selecting your desired background or product, now copy or cut that into a new layer and isolate the product. Then add a new background and you're done. Keep in mind that this process will only work if the image you're trying to remove background is simple enough. Otherwise you won't be able to isolate the background fully.

To my judgment, pen tool is the best tool presented by Photoshop for Photo masking. With this tool you can manually trace line around your desired object. The line is called clipping path. Grab the Pen tool and be sure the “path” tool is selected on the toolbar. Now trace a line around the object or model and end the path by clicking on the start point. You will have to exercise few times to be expert on clipping path. Here are some nips like you can create round angle by holding the left mouse and then restore the angle by clicking on the path point pressing “Alt” (In windows). Once you have created the path, now click Ctrl + Enter to select the path. Now you have selected your object or photo perfectly. Just copy that into new layer, delete the old background and add a new one and save the image into your desired format.
