Leading oil and gas companies to participate at TUROGE 2013

ANKARA, Turkey - March 18, 2013 - PRLog -- BOTAS, TPAO, BP and Shell Enerji are among the leading oil and gas companies who have confirmed to participate at the 12th Turkish International Oil & Gas Conference (TUROGE), taking place on 10 – 11 April 2013 at the Sheraton Hotel in Ankara, Turkey.

TUROGE is the best-attended oil and gas conference in Turkey. It provides a platform for industry professionals to have balanced and independent discussions on market trends impacting the region’s oil and gas market. Over 50 speakers and 500 participants are expected to attend.

Mehmet Konuk, CEO and Chairman of the Board, BOTAŞ and Besim Sisman, Deputy Chairman, TPAO will begin the conference with an opening address.

Hayati Ozturk, Member of the Board, PETKIM will provide a keynote presentation on petrochemicals and refining in Turkey, with a focus on the Petkim ‘value-site’ vision.

Memet Ali Kaya, Managing Director, Strategy Department, TPAO will continue the conversations by discussing global insights.

Michael Hoffmann, External Affairs Director, Trans Adriatic Pipeline will discuss TAP’s cooperation with Turkey in delivering the Southern Gas Corridor.

Bud Fackrell, Regional Vice President, BP and Nusret Cömert, Chairman of the Board, Shell Enerji have also confirmed their participation at TUROGE, along with İsmail Bahtiyar, President, Turkish Association of Petroleum Geologists and Şevket Demirbaş, President, Chamber of Geophysical Engineers.
