Follow on Google News | Images of 2014 Hyundai Equus Released Ahead of Official Debut2014 Equus is set to be revealed at the New York Auto Show at the end of the month.
The image Hyundai has released is a bit vague, the company doing a good job of keeping specific exterior changes under wraps. However, Hyundai has said that there are over 30 new or upgraded features on the 2014 Equus. The exterior of this luxury sedan features such updates as restyled LED taillamps, new LED headlamps, and 18-inch alloy wheels, with 19-inch options. Underneath the hood will be a standard 3.8L V6 engine that produces 334 hp. The other powertrain option is a more powerful 5.0L V8 engine that delivers over 400 hp. In addition, drivers can choose between three available driving modes: Normal, Slow, and Sport. There will be a number of upgrades made to the interior of the 2014 Hyundai Equus. Changes include a new 9.2-inch screen placed in the center of the dashboard, a slightly modified steering wheel, and an upgraded interior trim with higher-quality materials. More safety features will be available, including a blind-spot detection system and a surround-view camera. When the latest Equus model is revealed at the 2013 New York Auto Show, more in-depth information and features will be available. However, do not be surprised to continue to see small amounts of news about this luxurious Hyundai sedan released as Hyundai continues to market this vehicle. Drivers in Pensacola and the surrounding communities are encouraged to stop by their Pensacola Hyundai dealer and take the 2013 Equus out for a test drive to get an idea for how the next model may handle and what features it may offer.
