Follow on Google News | FunnyAddict.com Launches New Website Pigsarefunny.com, Poking Fun At The PoliceToday the creators of the humor website FunnyAddict.com, launched a new website called Pigsarefunny.com. The new website claims to be the only site on the Internet dedicated to publishing pictures of Cops (Police) in funny or embarrassing situations.
Ryan Sweet, director of content development at Pigsarefunny.com stated,"although there are many websites that publish funny pictures and videos, Pigsarefunny.com is dedicated to serving a very specific niche. I think you are going to see more websites moving into these specific niche markets, as Internet users are tired of spending hours searching more generalized websites."We were lucky enough to get a sneak peek of the website, which does not officially launch until April 1st, and I must say we had some serious laughs. There is nothing like seeing cops in extremely embarrassing, or funny situations. While we might think the website is funny, some in the police community find the site and it's name quite offensive. One police officer we spoke to said, "sites like this encourage the use of the word PIG to describe police officers are highly offensive". When we put this to VP of sales Evan Abbs, he said " Lighten up PIG, don't you have a doughnut to eat or a motorist to pester?, or some other investigation to bungle, LOL". I guess the guys at Pigsarefunny.com just don't have a whole lot of respect for the police community, but hey it's a free country. All in all Pigsarefunny.com is a fun website that allows members to vote on user submitted pictures and videos, it also allows sharing through all of the most popular social networks. The website is extremely easy to navigate and has some great content, and cool contests. We give the new website Pigsarefunny.com a solid 8/10, this is one website that will have you laughing. End
