HST to be eliminated in British Columbia and how it helps you save in your new home

SURREY, British Columbia - March 16, 2013 - PRLog -- With the long anticipated transition back to a two tax system in British Columbia, many people are awaiting to make certain purchases in order to save the 7% portion of the HST starting April 01, 2013.

Of course there are other factors to look at but the wait may be worth while as that cost for a home purchase in the Metro Vancouver area is not hard to be over $850,000. given the high value of real estate in that market.

If you are trying to figure out the impact the PST return in BC will have on you and your family, talk to your accountant or Realtor but given the short time left before the transition, look for service providers that will discount the value over the next few weeks.
