By: WFUV 90.7 FM Costas, the NBC Sports and MLB Network distinguished sports broadcaster, becomes the sixth recipient of the Scully Award, which will be presented at WFUV’s Sixth Annual Spring Gala. Costas has won 24 Emmy Awards, more than any other sportscaster, and the 2012 London Olympics were Bob’s tenth for NBC. (Full biography at end of this release). Scully, the iconic Voice of the Dodgers for 60 years, is a renowned Fordham graduate, and WFUV was his launch pad. Past Scully Award winners include: inaugural recipient Scully (2008), Dick Enberg (2009), Ernie Harwell (2010), Pat Summerall (2011), and Al Michaels (2012).
