TORRANCE, Calif. - March 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. was ranked number one in environmental site assessments and other associated reporting in the state of California for the fourth quarter of 2012 according to the EDR Scorekeeper announced Partner founder and Principal Jenny Redlin, REA.

Environmental Data Resources (EDR) publishes quarterly reports that provide data of national environmental due diligence firms’ ordering in each state. EDR Scorekeeper provides a comparison and ranking of each firm in relation to each other.

EDR Scorekeeper reports provide data as to increases and decreases of ordering in each state. This data is a clear indicator as to commercial real estate activity in each state. Data that shows an increase in ordering of reports in a state give the CRE market an accurate expectation of increased real estate transactions.

Phase I Environmental Site Assessment transactions are a leading indicator of real estate transactions that should be occurring. Typically, a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment or adjunct reports are done prior to the purchase or transfer of a commercial real estate or multifamily property.

According to Redlin, “In the past few years, we were seeing a fair amount of foreclosure deals. Now we are seeing a fair amount of new deals in the pipeline. It’s very encouraging to see the real estate market returning.”
