Luminarc Turns Up The Bakeware Heat
NEW LINE HAS ADDED QUALITIES THAT ADD PERFORMANCE SUPERIOR TO OTHER BAKEWARE
While metal and some ceramic cookware certainly fits the bill; traditional glass bakeware has simply not been up to the demanding temperatures these modern, high-heat cooking techniques require.
Luminarc has rolled out its professional grade line of bakeware …which is made of a specialized glass material known as Borosilicate. Borosilicate glass is formulated to withstand extreme temperature shifts…going from freezer to an astounding 572o hot oven and vice versa; and able to allow food to be finished under the broiler for up to 10 minutes without fear of damage to the glass utensil. This, coupled with the inherent health benefits of glass over other materials, and the attractive appearance of glass bakeware which can be placed right on the table…make Luminarc the perfect choice for serious cooks. Luminarc bakeware is also easy to clean and highly shock-resistant.
The line includes all the basic cookware pieces, plus some unique chef-style items such as soufflés, oval bakers and covered casseroles that are not typically found in glass cookware lines. Quite simply a collection designed with serious cooks in mind!
