David Bowie Rare Out-Take From Aladdin Sane

Only 125 copies of the book "Duffy...Photographer 2011" have been produced and Vintage Seekers has 50 available to sell.

COVENT GARDEN, U.K. - March 12, 2013 - PRLog -- In 1973, photographer Brian Duffy was shooting David Bowie for the cover of his album "Aladdin Sane" when inspiration struck. Duffy showed Bowie a Panasonic rice cooker his mother had given him; its logo was a red flash. He then took a red lipstick and drew the now famous lightning bolt across Bowie’s face. When Duffy asked Bowie what the album was to be called, Bowie replied “A Lad Insane”. Duffy misunderstood and Aladdin Sane was born.

Only 125 copies of the book "Duffy...Photographer 2011" (http://www.vintageseekers.com/products/duffy-special-limited-edition-collectors-book) have been produced and Vintage Seekers (http://www.vintageseekers.com/) has 50 available to sell including  both a print of the iconic cover image from the album "Aladdin Sane" as well as a rare out-take from the shoot.
