By: Miracle Place Church Ricky Sinclair March 31, 2013 is Easter Sunday. “Jesus Christ rose from the dead three days after being put into the tomb. This is why we celebrate Easter or some call it Resurrection Sunday,” said Ricky Sinclair (http://www.rickysinclair.com) One difference between Christianity and other beliefs is that Christians believe and serve a God that is alive and interceding on their behalf. Christians don't have to bow down before an idol that does nothing or make sure they are praying at a specific time. Instead, there is freedom to have a relationship with God the Father. A relationship takes two involved to participate. Jesus Christ actually is involved with the relationship and actually works on behalf of His believers. Romans 8:34 states, "Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died--more than that, who was raised to life--is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us." What more could you ask for. Ricky Sinclair says “Easter is a time of celebration!” "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.", John 3:16. In sending His only son, God already knew that Jesus would have to die on the cross for our sins. "He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification." Again, Easter is a celebration. Everyone who believe can take part and understand the celebration of Jesus Christ rising from the dead. March 30, 2013, Miracle Place Church (http://www.miracleplacechurch.org) will be having its yearly Spring Family Festival. Everyone is invited to come and celebrate the rising of our King Jesus Christ. There will be free food, games and giveaways. The celebration starts at 8:00 a.m. with free pancakes and will last till 1:00 p.m. Come to 2080 Main Street in Baker, La. 70714. Bishop Ricky looks forward to seeing you there.
