(i am) isis Named Supercuts “Rock The Cut” Artist Ambassador

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - March 12, 2013 - PRLog -- Rising rockers (i am) isis have been selected to join Supercuts’ “Rock The Cut” Artist Ambassador program for the second year in a row.

(i am) isis is among a select roster of emerging bands from across the country to be featured in the campaign. The five-piece crew was initially selected last year to join during the program’s inaugural launch last summer. This year, Supercuts continues the movement in support of its mission to align artists’ passion for music with the artistry and level of attention that they offer.

The inspirational track, powered by high energy and a funky bass line, calls for a “movement of people” to “pick up the peace, put down the sword.”

(i am) isis’ sound -- an eclectic fusion of rock and spoken soul, with a bluesy funk for the new millennium -- has been described as “an edgy and fresh brand of soulful truth.” Their shows have been characterized as an energetic explosion of power and grace.

Formed and fronted by soul-rock-phenom, isis, the band currently consists of bassist Mike Koltosky, drummer Manny Mav, guitarist Diamond Dave, and keyboardist Isaac Childs who bring her crazy, color-filled melodies to life on stage.
