Racing for Children to commence 2013 Asia Formula Renault season this weekend

The 2013 Asia Formula Renault season’s opening race weekend will begin this Saturday at Zhuhai International Circuit [“ZIC”], with the Sideways Driving Club/ChildFund car #10 of Pete Olson (PS Racing) aiming for a strong result at the popular Pan Delta Race Festival. Pan Delta combines the excitement of touring car, formula car, and superbike racing, as well as the Red Bull Drifting Battle and other special entertainment events for the over 20,000 average weekend total attendance and live television coverage.

Pete Olson will once again be using the Asia Formula Renault series to promote the worldwide children’s charity ChildFund International via the Racing for Children program. Thanks to the support of Sideways Driving Club in Hong Kong, Olson will be competing in the 2013 Asia Formula Renault Championship, with its highly-competitive international driver field of more than 20 cars, while continuing to use the popularity of the series to spread the word about ChildFund International’s efforts around the world.

After the second of the two AFR races finishes on Sunday, race fans and drivers can head over to Sideways Driving Club in Hong Kong for Pan Delta Race Night, where they can race the Renault Clio on the club’s simulators at the ZIC track for their chance to win a free Formula Renault test sponsored by PS Racing. During the Pan Delta weekend, they can visit the Sideways Driving Club VIP room at ZIC to meet owner Nick Swanson and find out more about the exiting entertainment of Sideways Driving Club, the only simulator driving experience in Hong Kong.
