Factoring Company, Universal Funding, Ramping Up Local Networking Efforts

SPOKANE, Wash. - March 11, 2013 - PRLog -- While Universal Funding is a factoring company that is highly competitive on a national level, they are a bit more ambiguous as a service provider in their local community.  By focusing on local networking opportunities, Universal Funding is hoping to be a part of the economic surge in the local Spokane and Coeur d’Alene region. “We want to help stimulate our local economy, by offering our services to companies that are in our own backyard.  Our goal is to help local companies expand and see continued success in the Greater Spokane area and experience the success on the level that we have at Universal,” stated Kyle Bergstedt, President.

On Tuesday February 19, 2013, Factoring Specialist, Andrew Watson  and Marketing Director, Jordan Hestness represented Universal Funding at  the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce After Hours Business Fair.  It was a three hour event held at the Coeur d’Alene Resort & Convention Center and the Universal Funding booth was one of 150 local vendors with over 6000 community members and businesses attending.

The Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce host one “After Hours Business” event each month,  where the focus is to provide a great way to meet other Chamber Members in a more casual "After Work" atmosphere.  The Business Fair was in addition to the great after hours they host.  Andrew and Jordan enjoyed getting to know the Chamber members and handed out the ever popular giveaway gift of golf shoe bags.

Coming up on March 27th, Universal Funding will also be represented at the Spokane Valley Chamber Business Show.  This event will be held at the Mirabeau Park Hotel & Convention Center and is sponsored by Avista Corporation. 70 local businesses, including Universal Funding, will be manning informational booths and networking with another.  Attending these types of events is a strategic move for Universal Funding to create awareness of their presence and services to the local community.

In conjunction with attending these Chamber events, this March, Universal Funding will also be taking out radio spots to further grow their exposure in the Inland Northwest.  They want Universal Funding to be known as a leading factoring company not only on a national level, but also a local level and this double exposure tactic will garner them name recognition locally.  “When we meet other business owners and community members at these Chamber events, we want them to be able to say, ‘oh, we just heard you on the radio’ or vice versa,” expressed Marketing Director, Jordan Hestness.

Universal Funding’s CEO and principal, Henry Wozow, chose to move his factoring company operations to the Inland Northwest roughly 20 years ago because of the sense of community and amenities in the mid-sized markets of Spokane and Coeur d’Alene.  He is pleased to see the success of outreach effort locally and hopes to help the businesses that make the Greater Spokane area so special.
