Last Chance to Register for PyData Silicon Valley 2013
PyData Silicon Valley brings together developers, programmers, scientists and data analysts from the Python community to discuss techniques and tools for the management, analytics and visualization of data – with a particular emphasis on big data and modern data problems. This is an opportunity to take part in an exchange of ideas between users, trying to analyze high-volume databases, and developers, providing them with accessible solutions. It is also an ideal forum to discuss the latest products and research on big-data challenges impacting all sectors of science and industry.
This year’s event features keynotes from Peter Norvig, Director of Research at Google, and Fernando Perez, Research Scientist at UC Berkeley’s Helen Willis Neuroscience Institute. Other speakers include noted Python experts from AppNexus, Bitdeli, Clinicast, Continuum Analytics, Disney Interactive, Drexel University, IPython, Lambda Foundry, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Marinexplore, Nokia, Python Academy, Quantopian, Spotify, Tata Consultancy Services, Twitter, UC Berkeley’s AMPLab, University of Chicago, Vast, Wikimedia Foundation and wise.io.
