Women Business Owner Invited to Speak at the Minority Business Council in Honor of Women’s Month

March 11, 2013 - PRLog -- Nationwide, women-owned businesses have grown steadily in each of the last ten years. During the Month of March the Minority Business Council will celebrate women and give attention to the success of local women in business.

Monica C. Dowe, owner and event director of the The Dowe Event Agency (www.thedoweeventagency.com) says, “I am so glad to be the guest panelist for during Women’s Month.” Excited to talk about the honor, highs and lows of being a women business owner she looks forward to speaking with the council’s members. “I am a woman who is dedicated to fulfilling my role as both mother and professional, and I applaud women, like myself, who are not afraid to make their own mistakes and who are fearless in picking up the pieces,” she concludes.
