March 8, 2013 - PRLog -- (Washington, DC) – Women entrepreneurs experienced an evening of fellowship and empowerment on February 23, as over 50 of the city’s rising business and non-profit owners gathered to celebrate the launch of Women’s Elevation Magazine at the Hillyer Art Space at the International Arts & Artists Museum. The event also raised $500 in donations for Sisters4Sisters, Inc., which mentors young girls in the areas of self-esteem, health awareness and much more.

“I am grateful for everyone who celebrated the launch of the magazine and all of the support we’ve received in the past. I started the magazine to help women on their journeys and the event and networking among the staff, vendors and attendees proved that our mission is being achieved. Thank you!,” said Founder/CEO DeLisha Sylvester.
