Off-world publisher of young adult fiction launches on Earth

Published today. Compendium of fantasy and scifi tales from off-world publisher

March 8, 2013 - PRLog -- Bromham, Bedfordshire, UK: The Repository of Imagination, a publisher of young adult books that claims to source its stories from other worlds and is run by an alien editor, launches a collection of short stories, novellas and poems called Alien Legends: A Selection from the Repository of Imagination.

Explaining the concept of the Repository of Imagination, publisher Tim C. Taylor said, “When I first received the manuscript for Alien Legends from author Gill Shutt, I intended to publish it through our Greyhart Press imprint. But I was intrigued by the opening story that described this interstellar organization that would give you a story from another world in exchange from a good tale told by the customer. ‘A Tale for a Tale’ this was called in the story. I thought… what if this ‘Swap Shop’ for stories were real? Why not create a real Repository of Imagination?”

Alien Legends collects 32 separate stories suitable for young humans aged 11-15 years, and for older readers whose sense of wonder is still functional. This is the first in a series of fantasy and science fiction short story collections to complement the novels already published by The Repository of Imagination.

The Repository is real! Children can send stories to ATaleforATale.com  and receive a story back in return.

Alien Legends: A Selection from the Repository of Imagination  — 32 separate tales of wonder for young adults —is published March 8th 2013 in paperback (US Edition ISBN 978-1481135375 from amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/Alien-Legends-Repository-Imaginatio...); UK Edition ISBN 978-1481154604 from amazon.co.uk (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Alien-Legends-Repository-Imaginat...)).
