Harvey Goodman's Western thriller, Winds of Redemption, garners "Runner-Up" award in the General Fiction Category of The Great Southwest Book Festival.

March 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Author Harvey Goodman's second novel, Winds of Redemption, has been awarded Runner-Up, posting a second place finish in the General Fiction Category of The Great Southwest Book Festival www.greatsouthwestbookfestival.com  This is Goodman's third award for Winds of Redemption, the story of a young, newly married cowboy, Sammy Winds, who fights a criminal organization bent on taking his life and his land in New Mexico Territory, 1872.

Goodman's first novel, Along the Fortune Trail, also won several awards, including Runner-Up  in the Genre Category of the 2010 Hollywood Book Festival. His first novel is the prequel to Winds of Redemption, and follows the exploits of Sammy Winds as he travels cross country to collect the reward on an outlaw he unwittingly killed.
